I am not awesome at growing things.

I planted a bunch of perennial flowers in these beds last year,

and this is how they looked about 3 months later -

 

The blubs peaking through here 

are seriously indestructible.

Even with the failure, I tried again.

Also, taking the tree out in the backyard

left a large area of non-lawn.

Instead of putting expensive sod in,

I wanted to see if seeding would work.

Let's see if the flowers and grass actually grow.
