ice chest.

Its innards needed some attention.
I'm certain I got lead poisoning from
sanding 1920's paint.

Not perfect, but I don't know how to fix it.
It'll do for now.
My craft/scrapbook materials fit quite nicely.

Made in Los Angeles 90 years ago.
Repurposed in Los Angeles today.
I adore this piece.

porthole #2.

Got this lady from the dumpster.

She's not homeless anymore.
And she has a sister in our entry.

Even though she's distressed, she's happy.

projects galore.

This is the current state of my garage.
Many projects.
Unique items keep availing themselves.
Saturday, a promise was made that I wouldn't acquire anymore until I finished at least one.
The weathered-old-wooden ladder was added this morning.
Shhhh.
Don't tell Eric.

casualty.

I found her face down in my back yard this morning.

I flipped her over to see if I could help.

Guuu!
Barbie plastic surgery gone horribly wrong.
Nothing could be done,
except throw her back over the fence.

colors.

Oranges are my favorite.
I also love browns.
Home Depot paint department is hard.
My vision is coming together.
Slowly but surely.

steamer trunk.

Our coffee table.
The top was painted, aged, and mod podged to match the side.

The old bubbled paper was scraped off.
The shelf and accent corners were decoupaged.
My first repurposing project.

grey green.

I love pulling into my driveway now.
The paint pallet is refreshingly calm.
We had a picnic dinner on our front lawn to celebrate.
